I’m Mateo Lind, a product photographer from Portland, Oregon
I photograph the things small makers spend years getting right: bottles, wallets, bicycles, and the hands that build them.

About me
I started out photographing frames in a bicycle workshop on Division Street. Twelve years later I still work the same way: one product, one light at a time, and no shot leaves the studio until the maker would hang it on their own wall.
LeanIn is a two-person studio. I shoot, Priya Shah produces and retouches, and we keep the calendar small on purpose.

My services
Everything a product needs between the prototype and the shop page, planned and shot in one studio.
Product photography
Clean shop-page stills and hero images, shot tethered so you can approve each frame as it lands.
Campaign film
Short loops and fifteen-second spots for launches, cut for every screen the product will meet.
Retouching
Dust, seams and reflections handled by hand, with the texture of the real material left in.
Still life sets
Built and styled in the studio, from a single marble plinth to a whole kitchen counter.
Lighting design
One deliberate light per product, so a label, a glaze or a brushed edge looks exactly as it does in hand.
Colour grading
A single grade across stills and film, matched to your packaging under daylight.
What’s in my bag?
The kit changes slowly. These are the bodies, lenses and lights on almost every shoot this year.
- Sony A7R V
- Hasselblad X2D 100C
- Canon EOS R5
- Sigma 105mm Macro
- Sony 24-70mm GM II
- Profoto B10X Plus
- DJI RS 4 gimbal
- Manfrotto 055 tripod

“Mateo found the one angle where our bottle looked like it was made by hand, because it is. The launch sold through in nine days.”
“Calm on set, fast in the edit, and the files arrived named the way our shop needed them. We have booked every season since.”
“He spent an hour on light before taking a single frame. That hour is the reason the bike looks the way it does on our homepage.”
